County's existing main EMS station suffered from over-crowding, small spaces, and poor configuration. Staffers were required to sleep in joint sleeping quarters. Number of bays were inadequate. Funds available were limited. |

SOLUTION |

Using a pre-engineered shell, RND designed a spacious, well organized facility that included 13 individual sleeping rooms, a dayroom, full toilet and bathing facilities, laundry, fitness room and a large training room that could be used by other County groups. Three double bays allowed space 6 rescue vehicles. Careful attention to detailing yielded a project exactly on budget. |
